SAN MARINO 2006/08 - AWAY SHIRT - VIRMA

The small republic of San Marino isn't really far from Tuscany, and I took advantage of a holiday in the area a few years ago to visit the country perched on Mount Titano and seek in the only sports store for the national team jersey... mission accomplished!

ENGLAND 1997/99 - AWAY SHIRT - UMBRO

The jersey is the one worn by the England team in the World Cup of 1998, where the team led by Glen Hoddle came out in the second round against Argentina.

Denmark

DENMARK 1998/2000 - HOME SHIRT - HUMMEL

Quite old shirt of Denmark, made by Hummel. The design of this shirt is unique, with the emblem of the Danish football federation raised on the front.

Estonia

ESTONIA 2005/06 - HOME SHIRT - NIKE

One of the first shirt I purchased online, it has number 10 on the front and on the back (usually Lindpere at the time).
It's the classic shade of blue worn by the Baltic national team.

Kenya

KENYA 2003 - HOME SHIRT - UMBRO

Considering the high number of fake Kenya shirt on Ebay (maybe because there's a lot of people visiting Kenya??), I decided to purchase an old jersey of the african national team. I found this Umbro shirt on american Ebay, and got it for a good price. At least, I'm sure to have a legit Kenya jersey!

Ivory Coast

IVORY COAST 2000/01 - HOME SHIRT - KAPPA

I bought this shirt in an online charity auction here in Italy. On the shirt (already quite rare) there are the signs, from right to left, of Gervinho, Toure and Drogba. Don't know if the autographs are genuine, it was told that the shirt was gifted to the association that organized the auction. So, why those should be fake?? :-P

CONGO DR 2013 - HOME SHIRT - ERREA

Really, I don't know how I got this shirt! I mean, I've tried emailing CONGO DR federation (Fecofa) and after some days I received a mail from a shop in France that agreed to give me a jersey just paying shipping cost. Obviously I accepted their request, and after a couple of week I got this at home. I like so much the colors of this pattern!!

CONGO 2013 - HOME SHIRT - UHLSPORT

I didn't think that finding a Congo shirt would be so difficult. Luckily, I found a precious help in Prince Oniangue, congolese player of Stade de Reims (Ligue 1), who has agreed to give me one of his shirt, worn in a friendly of his national team. Thumbs up for Prince!!

How I love to receive autographed jerseys worn by the players! This is a cadeau of Djiman Koukou, Beninese midfielder playing in Niort (French Ligue 2).

Iraq

IRAQ 2003/04 - HOME SHIRT - JAKO

I have only to thank the Ebay seller if I had this shirt for just 3 or 4 €...he wrote in the auction title "IRAK" instead of "IRAQ", making it a little more difficult to find with the search engine. I think this shirt is from 2003/04, and it's quite difficult to find some pictures of it online.

In my life, I never thought one day to find a Maldives national team shirt on Ebay! And to pay few money for it. Initially I thought it was a fake, but when I found pictures of the team wearing this shirt I convinced myself that I had a great deal!

Haiti

HAITI 2013 - HOME SHIRT - SAETA

I think it's really hard to see some other copies of this shirt on the Web. In fact, it was brought to me by an italian national team player. The shirt was worn during the friendly pre-Confederation Cup, ended with an incredible 2-2, with Haiti able to catch up two goals in the final!

St. Lucia

SAINT LUCIA 2008/10 - HOME SHIRT - MAL SKILLS

One of the rarest shirt in the world in here in my hand! I was gifted by Cliff Valcin, it's the shirt used by his oldest brother Germal Valcin in a national team match. The colors of the caribbean shirts are great, and this is one of the best in my opinion!

Saint Vincent & the Grenadines

SAINT VINCENT & THE GRENADINES 2010 - AWAY SHIRT - HEALY

Curious story for this jersey. It was sent to me by Oscar Nero, a former SVG defender, playing in Barbados. He is friend with Damal Francis, who is playing in Barbados too. And Damal bring back from SVG the shirt that Oscar ship to Italy. It was match worn, but I don't know in which match of World Cup qualifying!

Malta

MALTA 2004/06 - HOME SHIRT - ERREA

Another one of the little country in Europe inside my collection. Classic red and white shirt, during that period Malta was managed by german coach Horst Heese.

Greece

GREECE 2004/05 - HOME SHIRT - ADIDAS

That's the jersey worn by Greece during Euro 2004, where the team managed by Otto Rehhagel won the competition among the astonishment of all European football.

Moldova (2)

MOLDOVA 2013 - AWAY SHIRT - JAKO

Don't know for sure if the shirt is from 2013, but I know that it was worn by Artur Ionita in a friendly match between Moldova and Kazakhstan, played in Antalya on 6 february 2013 (final score 1-3, Ionita came on the field on 66' minute).

Another match worn, another gift from a player. This jersey was worn by Eugen Sidorenco, striker of Tom Tomsk and moldovan national team. He scored 2 at San Marino with this blu suit in the game played in Chisinau on 11 october 2013!

Luxembourg players are probably the best in the world. I got not one, but two Luxembourg shirt as gift from players. This one was from Rene Peters: he sat on the bench during the match versus Azerbaijan (22-3-2013) but was really good in taking his shirt after the final whistle! Thank you Rene!

Lithuania

LITHUANIA 2000/01 - AWAY SHIRT - LOTTO

Believe it or not, I paid this beautiful Lithuania shirt only 50 euro cents. Seriously. One of my best bargains: probably the shirt is match worn, but I also believe to be one of the few collectors to have this model! I still have to find a pic of this away kit in use, for the moment I'll post the home version.

Liechtenstein

LIECHTENSTEIN 2008/09 - HOME SHIRT - ADIDAS

Considering that all the Liechtenstein shirts look the same, this is quite original. Liechtenstein was mainly known here in Tuscany for "Super" Mario Frick, the team topo goalscorer, who played in Arezzo and Siena (and also Verona and Ternana). This jersey was bought by my parents during an holiday in Switzerland!
