KOSOVO 2016 - HOME SHIRT - PUMA

Kosovo is, together with Gibraltar, the newest Fifa member. FIFA admitted Kosovo as its 210th member at its 66th Congress in Mexico City on 13th May 2016, and I was immediately eager to add their shirt into my collection. A shirt that I searched a lot during past years, but with no chance to have it. My savior has the name of Edvar Celina, father of Manchester City and Kosovo young star Bersant Celina.
He helped me giving the issued shirt of Mergim Brahimi (who was not allowed to play by Fifa having played previously with Albania and Switzerland) and the training shirt of his son. Both comes from the friendly vs Faroe Islands on 3rd June 2016, so the first Kosovo official match under Fifa! Amazing! Thanks to all Celina family!

Bahrain (2)

BAHRAIN 2014/15 - HOME SHIRT - ROMAI

It's never easy to get in contact with players from Asia, considering msot of them don't speak english or don't use much social network. Luckily there are some exceptions. I managed to get in contact with Bahrain international Sayed Ahmed, and after talking some months he was able to send me (and sign!) a shirt he worn during Asian Cup in 2015 where the team went out during group stage.

Slovakia

SLOVAKIA 2016 - HOME SHIRT - PUMA

Another time writing here to thank my latvian friend Vladislavs (he also come here in Livorno in May 2016 to visit my city and meet me!). This is the shirt worn by Dusan Svento in friendly match vs Latvia, played in 25/03/2016. Considering that I just realized that I always forgot to upload pics of my other Slovakia shirt, this will be the 1st on the blog :D

Turkmenistan (2)

TURKMENISTAN 2015/16 - AWAY SHIRT - UMBRO

My second Turkmenistan shirt! I already owe one, but some details in it (see in its page on this blog) made me doubt something is not correct. So I tried to have another one, and was lucky enough to meet mr. Artur Gevorkyan, midfielder actually playing in Uzbekistan. With the help of his sister, who lives in Germany, I received at home this beautiful match worn shirt, from WC 2018 qualifiers.

Fiji

FIJI 2012 - HOME SHIRT - PUMA

One of the nicest designs in my collection for this shirt! It's already a match worn, coming from defender Alvin Singh (thank goes also to his girlfriend that sent the shirt from Australia) and it was really an huge help considering that I was never able to track down a Fiji shirt!

New Caledonia

NEW CALEDONIA 2011/15 - HOME SHIRT - NIKE

Quite easy to get this shirt from FCF (Fédération Calédonienne de Football), the hardest part was finding a way to send over there the money cause they accepted only bank transfer!

Cyprus (2)

CYPRUS 2014/16 - AWAY SHIRT - ADIDAS

I tried for a long time to get a Cyprus worn shirt, but no luck at all. After many attempts, I found complete willingness to help by Konstantinos Makrides (he has more than 70 games with Galanolefki!!), who found time to send me the shirt in the photo. Should be match worn, probably in 10/10/2015 vs Israel!

Gambia (2)

GAMBIA 2015/16 - HOME SHIRT - ADIDAS

This is my second Gambia shirt! Got it from defender Omar Colley, actually playing for Djurgårdens IF in Sweden. He got this beauty after Afcon Qualifiers match vs Mauritania in March 2016 and signed also before shipping it in Italy.
