Tahiti

TAHITI 2013 - AWAY SHIRT - NIKE

FINALLY! F I N A L L Y ! My last shirt! After more or less 5 years spended on this task, I was able to track down and get the last shirt I miss to have all 211 FIFA national teams jerseys. More than an huge thanks goes to Ricky Aitamai, who first worn this shirt in Confederations Cup match vs Spain (20.06.2013) and then accepted to sell me this great piece of polyester!!
Don't worry, I won't stop collecting. I want to replace some old and bad looking shirts, and add some from teams affiliated to continental federations. But it's also time to promote a bit my work on newspapers, websites and all around!

Togo (2)

TOGO 2017 - MACRON - AWAY SHIRT

Could I have not a shirt from African Cup 2017? Of course! This beauty was sent by Serge Akakpo, who I managed to contact online explaining my work. He was happy to help me, and waited till AFCON 2017 to send me a shirt. This Macron kit is available only to players and not for sale actually, with the official patch of the competition.

Suriname (2)

SURINAME 2012/14 - KELME - AWAY SHIRT

Rare Suriname shirt, as worn by the team during the friendly vs French Guiana in 2014 (thanks to Sven Weh for the photo). Shirt was provided by Emilio Limon, Suriboys midfielder, who sent it to his friend Dion Kwasie (based in Netherlands) and from there finally to Italy. I'm really happy to have this shirt, as Suriname worn shirts are extremely hard to get hand on.

Kenya (2)

KENYA 2016 - HOME SHIRT - UHLSPORT

Considering I hardly managed to find photos of my first Kenya shirt, I tried adding another one. This one come from Aboud Omar, left back playing actually in Slavia Sofa (BG). He got it during one of his several trip to motherland for international duty.

Maldives (2)

MALDIVES 2015/17 - JOMA - HOME SHIRT

Classic Maldives kit, as they are wearing it since 2015. I assure it come directly from Maldives FA headquarters (I should still have the pic of the envelope somewhere) despite the little difference in this version (logo + flag instead of only MFA logo).

Bangladesh (2)

BANGLADESH 2016 - LOTTO - HOME SHIRT

This is my second Bangladesh shirt, and indeed it's a little more brillant than the anonymous orange one I already had. This come from national team kitman Mohsin and thanks also to goalkeeper coach Ryan, who sent to me from Australia. I think it's a fake Lotto shirt (but the team used that), with a little difference on the chest with the one in the photo below (it has only flag, mine Lotto logo + flag). Considering from where it come, I think it's already good!

Hong Kong (2)

HONG KONG 2016 - HOME SHIRT - NIKE (+ SOUTH CHINA 2016 SHIRT (HK CLUB))

Hong Kong national team is growing fast in recent years, thank to a good job of Honk Kong Football Association. A lot of good players born outside the country started playing for national team, and the team performance took off. One of them is Andrew Russell, the friend who accepted to help me in my project. He decided to gift not just one, but two shirts both with his sign on the back!
The first one is Hong Kong national team shirt, from the AYA Bank Cup 2016, which took place in Mynmar in June. The second one is South China shirt, Andrew's team and the most successfull club in HK league history, is from friendly match vs Juventus, played on 30 july 2016!

Iceland (4)

ICELAND 2016 - HOME SHIRT - ERREA

Too easy to support now Iceland, after the great Euro 2016 played in the summer. I am a long time fan of the nordic national team, as evidenced by the 4 shirts I have. The most precious is certainly this, a gift from Iceland defender Birkir Sævarsson. He not only gifted me during last year a Belgium shirt, but this time he replied with his shirt from the match against Turkey (9 October 2016 in Reykjavik, World Cup 2018 qualifiers). Thanks Birkir, you're really a special person!

Vatican City

VATICAN CITY ??? - HOME SHIRT - SELECT

Can't say I am not reaching my goals when focusing on. I had the idea to try adding the glorious Vatican City shirt (one of the few sovereign states not affiliated to FIFA), and I started searching for. I met the former coach of the team, who was king enough to get me in contact directly with the president, mr. Domenico Ruggiero. He was happy to contribute to my project and with the help of the coach sent me directly from Vatican City postal office the great shirt you could see further down. I can't find picture of it in use, but it was told me it should be from late '80s or first '90s, and considering that I have seen pictures of a '90s kit who used the shorts combined with my jersey, dating should be correct.

Libya

Libya 2015/16 - HOME SHIRT - ADIDAS

Considering how difficult was the situation in Libya in recent years, it had been a miracle to add a Libya shirt in my collection. It was the last one missing to have all 54 CAF shirts! I can't thank enough mr. Ali Albussifi, libyan sport journalist actually working in Jordan. He got the shirt from Libya FF members during one of his trip to Tripoli, and sent it to me from Amman. I can't say why the white border on Libya FF badge is smaller than the one seen on team match pictures, but that's it!

Trinidad & Tobago (2)

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO 2013/16 - AWAY SHIRT - JOMA

This shirt had been used during several years by Trinidad and Tobago national team, at various levels. The shirt itself is coming from Radanfah Abu Bakr, football globetrotter, who spend part of his career in Europe with Kruoja (Lithuania), HB Koge (Denmark) and Sillamae Kalev (Estonia, his actual team). He got this jersey during one of his last oversea trip from equipment manager and signed it on the back. The shirt was worn also during Concacaf Under 20 Championship, played in 2015 in Jamaica, cause the patch is present on right sleeve.

Uganda (2)

UGANDA 2015/16 - HOME SHIRT - FUFA

Although I could never thank enough the players who have sent me other Ugandan shirts that I own, I could never find a perfect match between my shirt and those seen in photos of the matches.
And when Uganda began using a wonderful red jersey, I decided to try to obtain it. To come to my rescue was Brian Umony (and his friend Fred Lubangakene that helped for shipping), over 30 caps for Uganda, which had provided his jersey worn in the 2-0 win over Botswana in 2015 (played on June 13 in Kampala and valid for Africa Cup of Nations Qualification). After an adventurous journey (in which I also feared to have lost the package despite the tracking code), the shirt has reached its destination!
